What does Sqord do to protect the privacy of Players?

Sqord is unique in its level of commitment to the privacy protection of every player, especially in light of the fact that many of our players are thirteen years of age and younger.

Sqord is certified for Privacy Protection and Children’s Privacy Protection by TRUSTe, a recognized leader and authority in online privacy.

While Sqord does report anonymous data on player activity to partners, that data never includes information that could be used to identify an individual player. In fact, Sqord does not even collect information from players that is deemed personally identifiable by COPPA (the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

When personally identifiable information is collected, it is only collected from a parent, and only when they have also been presented with (and have confirmed agreement with) Sqord’s Privacy Policy.

Sqord takes the further step of making tools available to parents which can be used to exclude children from reporting.
